CSAT kya hai
CSAT ka pura nam "civil services aptitude test" hai. Yah civil services preliminary examination ka modern rup hai. Yah screening test hai civil services main examination ke liye jo har sal UPSC ( union public service commission of india) dwara conduct kiya jata hai.
Note- UPSC ka manana hai ki civil services ke lliye kisi subject par maharat hasil hona jaruri nahi hai isliye civil services preliminary examination ke syllabus me badlav kar k

ELIGIBILITY
- BHARAT KA NAGRIK HONA JARURI HAI
- AAPKA AGE NA HI 21 SE KAM HONA CHAHIYE NA HI 32 SE JYADA
note for obc 21 - 35 ; for sc/St 21-37
- AAPKE PASS SNATAK (DEGREE) KA CERTIFICATE HONA CHAHIYE
- AAP 6 BAAR SE JYADA EXAM ME NAHI BAITH SAKTE
note for obc 9 baar for sc/St unlimited
PAPER PATTERN
CSAT ke do paper hote hai dono hi compulsory hote hai
PAPER 1 100 question 200 marks time 2 ghanta
Syllabus
- Current events of national and international importance
- history of India and Indian national movement
- Indian and world geography :- physical, social, economic geography of india and the world
- Indian polity and governance :- constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, rights issue etc.
- Economic and social development services, sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographic, social sector initiatives etc.
- general issues on environment ecology, biodiversity and climate change (do not require subject specialisation)
- general science
PAPER 2 80 question 200 marks time 2 ghanta
- comprehension
- interpersonal skills inclincluding communication skills
- logical reasoning and analytical ability
- decision making and problems solving
- general mental ability
- basic numeracy ( number and their relations, order of magnitude etc.) Class 10th level, data interpretation ( charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.) Class 10th level
- English language comprehension skills ( class 10th level)
Note question relating to English language comprehension skills of class 10th level will be tested through passage from English language only without providing hindi translation there of in the question paper.
Question will be multiple choice objective type
